Job descriptions – Intern

Major responsibilities
  • Assisting with the tagging and categorization of documents during the implementation of our new contract management system;
  • Creating contract records in the contract management system and using other electronic-based tools;
  • Initial preparation of legal documents such as contracts, correspondence and summaries;
  • Providing contract information/interpretation to other members of the Legal team on the provisions of specific agreements as well as local legal issues that might impact the business;
  • Creating, reviewing, analysing and maintaining legal and other business documents;
  • Conducting client phone intake, identifying potential legal issues and to obtain;
  • Assisting in promotion activities and business development programs of the Firm (for example, articles and seminars); and
  • Performing other assignments as delegated by Lawyers;
Report to / cooperate with
  • Lawyers
Skills and Key requirements
  • Be a senior student at a University of Law or hold a LLB or BA in law;
  • Preferred candidate has strong legal knowledge, specializing in business and commercial law, with have outstanding academic achievements;
  • Good at MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Have good command for both written and spoken in English;
  • Being a proactive and responsible team player;
  • Have good research skills, writing skills, multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Have a strong desire to learn new things and quickly apply that knowledge to specific tasks;
