Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy is an experienced lawyer specialising in labour law and dispute resolution. Thuy has extensive experience advising both domestic and international companies, multinational corporations and individuals on a wide range of employment and employee relations matters, as well as various processes of workforce restructuring, collective bargaining, labour compliance and labour discipline.
Thuy also undertook her LLM at the University of Bristol, one of the most prestigious universities in the UK, to further enhance her expertise in labour law.
Thuy joined Phuoc & Partners in 2020.

Thuy has gained a wealth of knowledge in a diverse range of legal practice areas. Thuy is experienced in employment transactional and advisory work, as well as in the negotiation and resolution of legal disputes before the courts and arbitration centres. Additionally, Thuy is an active speaker at various training sessions on labour law and personal data protection law. Thuy’s experience may be highlighted as follows:
- Advising on matters relating to labour law compliance, labour outsourcing, trade unions, workforce restructuring processes, collective bargaining, termination of employment contracts, and labour discipline;
- Providing strategic advice on the engagement of foreign employees;
- Drafting and reviewing employment documentation, internal policies, internal labour regulations, and collective labour agreements;
- Delivering legal advice and legal opinions across various legal areas, including personal data protection, tax, marriage and family law, intellectual property, and dispute resolution;
- Advising on corporate and foreign investment matters in Vietnam, including corporate incorporation; establishment and termination of representative offices; and other related corporate matters;
- Assisting clients in negotiation, mediation, and conciliation proceedings to achieve practical and commercially sound outcomes;
- Representing clients in litigation and arbitration;
- Delivering professional training sessions on labour law and personal data protection law for corporate clients.
